Effective [effective date]. This policy explains how RoboRide LLC, a Florida limited liability company that rents Tesla vehicles on the Space Coast, Florida (“RoboRide,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses and protects your information when you use roboride.us, contact us, or rent a vehicle from us.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information: name, email address and phone number.
- Booking details: requested vehicle, rental dates, pickup preference and messages you send us.
- Driver and insurance verification: driver’s license (front and back), a selfie holding your license, date of birth, and proof of your own auto insurance.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered with and stored by Stripe; RoboRide does not store your full card number.
- Vehicle and trip data: during a rental, location, mileage, charging, toll and camera data from the Vehicle, as described in our Rental Terms.
- Communications: records of calls, texts, chats and emails with us.
2. How we use it
To respond to inquiries, confirm availability, verify identity, eligibility and insurance, process payments, deposits and incidental charges (charging, tolls, citations), coordinate pickup and return, send receipts and rental-related messages, prevent fraud, handle claims, and comply with law and tax obligations.
3. Service providers and sharing
We share information only as needed to run our rentals: with Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website hosting and form storage), our phone and SMS providers (calls and text messages), Google (email), Tesla (vehicle access), toll and government agencies, insurers and adjusters, law enforcement when required, and collection agents. These providers process information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Text messages (SMS)
If you check the SMS consent box on our booking form, or text us first, RoboRide LLC will send rental-related text messages to the number you provide, such as booking confirmations, pickup details and receipts. We do not send marketing texts. Consent is not a condition of renting.

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data are not shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. AI assistants
RoboRide may use automated and AI assistants to answer calls, texts, chats and emails and to help process bookings. Information you share with them is handled under this policy. A person at RoboRide reviews and approves every rental, and you may ask to speak with a person at any time.
6. Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the rental, claims, legal and tax purposes, then delete it. Images of IDs are stored securely. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards.
7. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law, and you may opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
8. Changes and contact
